Christel grew up in Manchester, Iowa, and earned her degree at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Go Bulldogs! She began her State Farm career in 1996 and took a leap of faith by becoming an independent State Farm Agent in 2003. Passionate about helping customers with retirement and financial decisions, Christel holds four professional designations: CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChSNC (Chartered Special Needs), and RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional). Her customers become family, and she is committed to helping them prepare for their goals—but also the unexpected.

Christel currently lives in Quasqueton, Iowa, with her supportive husband, Chad. They have been married for over two decades and enjoy spending time with their son, Connor, and their furry companions Barlcey & Beau Beau. As a family, they are actively involved in East Buchanan schools and the local Cedar Valley community.

Connor is involved in many activities, and they enjoy being involved in their son's school district, East Buchanan.
